What is high blood pressure?

- Considered the gold standard for confirming hypertension.
Home Blood Pressure Monitoring (HBPM)
HBPM involves patients measuring their own blood pressure at home using a validated blood pressure monitor.
Most healthcare professionals recommend taking two readings in the morning and two in the evening over several consecutive days.
HBPM is an excellent tool for long-term monitoring but cannot evaluate blood pressure during sleep.
Current blood pressure targets
